As an integrated wealth management firm and as financial advisors, we gather a lot of information that is necessary to fulfill our role. Information is collected in person, over the phone, through the mail and by e-mail such as your name, address, title, telephone number, e-mail address, Social Insurance Number, etc.

We also collect a lot of personal information depending on the specific services for which you engage us. These services might include information concerning tax returns, investments, detailed net worth and legal documentation and information on your corporate structure and holdings, if applicable.

2. Why does CWM collect and use this personal information?

Some of this information is necessary in order for us to assist you as your financial, investment or tax advisors. We collect this personal information for the following purposes:

a) To obtain a full understanding of your personal goals and objectives and current financial position so that we fulfill our role responsibly and maintain a trustworthy relationship with you.

b) We need to use personal information in order to file tax or corporate returns.
